The Knowledge Factory. Turns what happens to you into what you know.

AI changes. Your brain compounds.

Your automations and agents will be out of date in a month, six months, a year. What you know won't. Collect it and structure it once, in one place, and every new tool starts ahead.

Where we stand.

  1. 01

Models are capable. Context makes them useful.

The intelligence is already there. Give it the right knowledge, history, and guidelines, and put it to work.

Knowledge, history and guidelines connect a capable model to useful work.
  2. 02

    Every company leaks knowledge.

Meetings fade into thin notes. Reasoning and lessons disappear; people leave with what they know. Capture it while it is fresh, so the work stays useful.

A pipe starts full of knowledge and leaks over time, leaving only fragments.
  3. 03

    Automations age. Knowledge compounds.

Build the foundation first. Tools come and go. Every new agent and automation should start with what the last one learned.

Three generations of tools sit on progressively larger stacks of retained knowledge.
  4. 04

It is not a knowledge base. It is a factory.

Knowledge and guidelines feed agents and automations. Results and feedback flow back into the same foundation.

Knowledge and guidelines feed agents and automations, which produce results and return feedback.
  5. 05

Every run should improve the next one.

Keep what worked, what failed, and what people said. Feed it back in, so the next run builds on the last instead of repeating its mistakes.

Knowledge feeds automations. Runs and feedback return as another layer in the knowledge base.
  6. 06

The tool should be replaceable. The factory should not be.

The leading model keeps changing. OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, or whatever comes next should work from your accumulated knowledge, without starting over.

OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and xAI surround a rotating number-one position. The leader keeps changing.

The setup file · free

One file. Your assistant builds the factory.

Download it. Hand it to ChatGPT, Claude or Codex and say: set up my knowledge factory. It builds the whole thing in your Notion: the store, the rules, and the routines that keep it honest while you sleep. It does what it can itself and asks you only when it has to. Most people are done in an afternoon.

v0.1 · 200 KB · Markdown. Free, no email. It is the same file I use. Needs a Notion Business plan (that is where Notion's own agents live) and an assistant with the Notion connector. The file handles the rest.

What it builds

  • The structure: ten databases and the pages that tell any AI how to read and write them
  • Five routines that run inside Notion: file, tidy, consolidate, brief, capture meetings
  • Five example feeders for what comes in: mail and calendar, conversations, recordings, reading, messages
  • A morning message, a watch list, and a receipt for every run

How to run it

  1. Download the file.
  2. Hand it to your assistant and say: set up my knowledge factory.
  3. When it asks you to click something, do it and say Go.

When you want a hand

I'll set it up with you.

I'm in this all day, every day. Book this if the file built the structure but you are not sure what belongs in it, if you have years of notes to bring in, or if you would rather not do it alone. If your assistant gets stuck along the way, it can book the time for you.

We open your workspace, shape it around how you actually work, and get the routines running. You leave with it working. There is no pitch at the end.
